Cosmos II

Cosmos II is the sequel that outshines expectation. Born from the remnants of Cosmos I, it transforms leftover lunar fabrics into a new constellation of design. Sustainability meets storytelling in a piece that reimagines textile waste.

With a custom modern set and crisp, architectural lines, this 65 by 88 inch quilt commands attention. Striking yellows and scrappy textures orbit across the surface, echoing the Colourwerx Cosmos pattern while carving out its own identity. The backing features a curated blend of woodsy prints, arranged with linear precision and quiet depth.

Completed in January, 2024 and pieced by Catherine Potdevin, Cosmos II is a study in creative gravity. It is soothing yet bold, nostalgic yet forward-looking. A textile that keeps the stars aligned and the imagination in motion.
